All are custom cut to proper length and are special order items. We also strongly recommend that you replace the balance spring system parts along with track.
There are many types of Oldach window balance systems. Channel Balances, Spiral Balances, Tube balances etc. Please look and provide info as carefully as possible — window balances are custom made and are non-returnable Please note: Send info on any / all numbers or letters stamped on any Channel Balance Parts .. and remember that these numbers and stampings are not enough information to order parts. We do our best to save you money by trying to ID window balances by photos, but many things need to be measured and or compared.
Does your window “tilt” out .. or is it a NON TILT MODEL? Good, clear pictures with a tape measure for size reference of the plastic/metal top & bottom guides ( shoes ) as attached on your window? Pictures and dimensions of the Metal Channel ? Measure the “length” of balance WITHOUT ANY ENDS OR SHOES ATTACHED? Measure all dimensions of the balance – width, depth, shape etc.and note any/all hole locations in balance or pins where it might attach. If you are unsure of what to order — you might want to send us a sample.
